Our story

It started with one cat on a fire escape

CatDaddy's Kitty City Sanctuary began as a feeding station and a stubborn refusal to walk past a pregnant cat. Today it is a small building on a loud block, a vet on speed dial, and a waiting list of people who've learned that a rescued cat is worth the paperwork.

Where the money goes

  • Vet care. Intakes, spay and neuter, dental work, and the chronic conditions the shelter world calls “not worth treating”.
  • Food and litter. The unglamorous line item that decides whether the doors stay open.
  • The building. Heat in winter, cool in August, and a lease that renews too often.

Figures above are placeholders — swap in the sanctuary's real spending before publishing.
